My mom bought this the day
we went to Irish fest for me to
learn. It has been fun to start on.
My Tin whistle is in the Key of "D".
The Irish whistle has many names,
such as penny whistle, English Flageolet,
Scottish penny whistle, Tin Flageolet, Irish
whistle and Clarke London Flageolet,
It is a six-holed woodwind instrument.
The Irish Whistle comes from a wide
form of flipple flutes seen in many forms
and cultures throughout the world.
You're most likely to find the whistles made
of brass tubing of nickel plated brass tubing,
with a plastic mouthpiece (fipple).
It is the most popular instrument in
traditional Irish music today.
